With expert guidance and support from people who live and work here, Lewes Community Land Trust can deliver appropriate developments where needed - and the Trust will re-invest any surplus back into Lewes. Lewes CLT needs you. It needs your support to give it credibility with the planners, politicians and the press. You can help by becoming a supporter. Individuals can join for £2, couples for £3 and organisations for £15 each year. Supporters pay an annual subscription and nominate members to the Board of Directors of the Trust every year at the Annual General Meeting to make sure that the expert Directorship is guided by the interest of the community as a whole.

The Trust has set up this membership scheme so that it can be in close touch with the community it serves and be democratically accountable to it. The subscription has been kept low so that the widest possible representation can be achieved. A modest income from this source should fund the the Trust's day-to-day administrative needs. Finance for specific projects will be sought from government, grant-making trusts and from a local Lewes Bond we plan to launch later this year.
