24 Chairs

The exhibition is remarkable. It shows the quality in depth that exists in Lewes for creative arts. It is not surprising that there are a few really good artists living here. But, it is incredible that there are so many – and enough to make up an exhibition of 23 chairs (the 24^th is left ‘as is’ for comparison) where all are of such a high standard. There was a very lively private view where bids were left for some of the chairs, but business has been slow during the week.

50% of the profit of the sales goes to Lewes Community Land Trust. We hope all our supporters will at least come to the auction to support the event and maybe find themselves bidding for a fine art bargain. Please also spread the word.
